Make the most of your Gold Coast holiday with a variety of free activities for the whole family at Ashmore Palms. Our free holiday activity program adds extra fun to your stay while keeping your holiday affordable and super enjoyable.
During off-peak periods, you can enjoy free activities 3-4 mornings per week. During school holidays, we offer an even bigger lineup of activities to keep the kids entertained.
Free Activities in Off-Peak Seasons
During 2025 off-peak periods, kids can join activities with Miss Kellie for some of her speciality activities.
These generally include: kids craft on Tuesdays; sand art on Wednesdays; family balloon modelling workshops on Fridays; and face painting or glitter tattoos on Saturdays (these alternative weekly).
During off peak times, each family also receives a voucher to redeem for a free family photo session with the green screen and a free game of XPlay, our exclusive interactive gaming room.
Easter and April School Holiday Activities
Get ready for a fun-filled Easter and April school holidays at Ashmore Palms, with plenty of free activities for the whole family!
Over the Easter long weekend, enjoy an exciting lineup of entertainment, including an Easter egg hunt, balloon creations, face painting, and Sideshow Alley games with Sparky.
Be amazed by Drace the Illusionist’s Magic & Illusion Show, enjoy laughs and juggling tricks with Mr Kaboodle’s Circus Show, and experience an Easter Family Magic Show full of surprises!

Anzac Day & Long Weekend Activities
On Anzac Day afternoon, Friday 25 April, join Sparky on the tennis court for Aussie Park Games – fun outdoor activities suitable for toddlers to adults!
Face painting is on Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon, join Mr Kaboodle for his hilarious circle show and juggling show.
Sunday 27, take advantage of the Bonus Xplay day, with one free Xplay interactive gaming session per family!
May Long Weekend Activities
The first weekend in May is a long weekend in Queensland, due to Labour Day falling on the Monday.
Friday morning, 2 May, Miss Kellie will be holding her popular balloon modelling workshop, which the whole family can enjoy!
Saturday morning, join Miss Kellie at Reception for her amazing face painting.
Sunday morning, be amazed by Mr Kaboodle at his circus show and juggling in the activity centre.
Mother’s Day Weekend Activities
Mums can join the kids for Miss Kellie’s popular Balloon Modelling working on Friday morning, 9 May. Saturday morning, Miss Kellie is holding face painting.
Sunday Morning, meet Mr Kaboodle at Reception where he’ll make you a special balloon creation for your mum or loved one for Mothers’ Day!
Also grab a free mother’s day-themed digital photo in the photo booth, just for mum!

If minimum numbers are not met, activities may be cancelled.
